Wednesday Update

Last evening a group headed to the beach. While we were walking back to the van a couple drove up to us thanking us for coming down to help rebuild. Apparently it is obvious that we are out of towners....locals no longer come to enjoy the beach anymore. This couple is rebuilding across from the beach and it was interesting to hear them tell their story of the recovery.

This morning we started with early morning devotions on the beach....yes we were able to get teenagers up and at the beach by 6am. It was a beautiful morning today, and it was a welcomed experience.

Work wise has been more of the same. We have split up into multiple crews again and continued to do more drywall finishing, painting, and installing trim. Progress is being made and it is nice to see the fruits of our labor.

It is hard to believe that today is already Wednesday. The week is going by fast, but we are still having fun and enjoying ourselves. The damage here is still incredible, but it is good feeling to know that we are making a difference.

Til next time......

hello everyone. i can see that you all are having a good time. it is very warm here in michigan. in the 80's. but i am sure that it is much warmer were you guys are.

i hope that the slave driver hasn't worked you all too hard while he observes. =0..

how cool that you all could go out to the beach for devotions this am. that is such a good idea. how wonderful to praise our maker out in nature!

you all have a great week. i love being able to see these updates. it is so exciting... seen that i am not there. take care all!

Hello from Illinois! Wow - you're pictures rival the National Geographic photographer's that we saw today at Willow Creek! Nice perspective on that boot. Kelsey - are you making up a liturgical dance?

Nice sunset and the boot was composed well. Can't believe that the teens got up early. Must be the Holy Spirit's promptings work better than parents. I can't think of a better way to worship than watching the sunrise over the gulf. We saw the sunset tonight and thought of you watching it set in Mississippi too.

GOD IS GREAT ALL THE TIME....ALL THE TIME.....""""""

Thanks, again, for the pictures and updates. We really wish we could be there. I love the idea of devotions on the beach.
I hope the siblings groups are getting along - well - our pair of siblings mainly.
May God bless the work of your hands and words of your mouth as you spread the good news with your labor.
